The Ground Rules

No asterisks. No buried fine print.

What qualifies

The deal must fund (close and disburse). The mortgage must be $100,000 or more. You must be the referring partner on record at submission — retroactive attribution isn't possible.

The $3,000 per-deal cap

A single deal pays a maximum of $3,000 regardless of size. This keeps unit economics healthy so every deal — not just jumbo loans — gets paid competitively.

Payout timing

Commissions are created at Funded status, reviewed (typically same business day), then paid within 30 days of the funding date via e-transfer or direct deposit. The 30-day hold protects against rare lender clawbacks.

Commission statuses

Pending → Approved → Paid in your portal, with Cancelled as the rare exception if a lender reverses a deal. Every record shows the full calculation and current state.

FAQ

The questions realtors ask before signing up.

What happens if my client comes in through multiple channels?+

Attribution is set at submission time to the partner on record. If the client was previously a RATECORE customer, pre-existing relationships may reduce or exclude the commission at our discretion.

Can I see my commission before the deal funds?+

No — commissions are only created at funding. You can track every application's live status in the portal up to that point.

What if the client drops out mid-process?+

No commission. We only share revenue we actually earn.

Can I refer myself or family members?+

Self-referrals (where you are the borrower) are excluded. Close-family referrals are allowed and follow the same rules as any other deal.

Can the rates change?+

RATECORE reserves the right to adjust goal rates, tier multipliers, and per-deal caps at any time and without notice. Any commission already created keeps the values in effect at the moment of funding — historical records are never retroactively modified, so your paid and pending totals are always safe.

Is there a separate contract to sign?+

Yes — the Partner Program Terms (at /partner-terms/) govern the referral relationship between you, RATECORE, and our licensed brokerage partner. You accept those terms at signup. You also accept our general Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. No separate per-deal contract is required.
